I don’t have many photos of couples from my family tree. Before the age of widely available pocket cameras, most portraits were (occasionally) taken by traveling photographers in rural America. But I do have these photos of all eight of my great-grandparents. Four couples who married young and stayed married for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health.
